A Friendship. A Passion. A Watch Company
Every watch tells a story. This one begins with a friendship dating back to 1998.
Founders Adam and Dan first met at school in the North West of England. As the years passed, careers, families and everyday life took them in different directions, until the loss of a close childhood friend brought their old friendship group back together.
Reconnecting through that experience, they discovered that their shared interests had hardly changed. Among them was a growing fascination with watches.
What began as an almost throwaway suggestion from Adam to make a watch of his own soon developed into something much bigger.
Countless evenings of research, experimentation, prototypes and refinement followed. Balancing their ambition with full-time careers and family life, the pair gradually transformed a shared enthusiasm into an independent watch company.
Today, Morecambe Bay Watch Co. is a testament to friendship, determination and the belief that something meaningful can grow from the simplest of ideas.
