Every watch tells a story. This one is… one of the most distinctive modern British watch collaborations.
Created in collaboration with Andrew Morgan Watches, “The Red One” takes Christopher Ward’s award-winning Bel Canto and gives it a striking red treatment, pairing its sculptural dial architecture with the ingenious hourly chiming mechanism that made the model such a talking point.
Built around a lightweight Grade 5 titanium case, the Bel Canto uses Christopher Ward’s FS01 striking module over a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. On the hour, the watch produces an audible chime, with the mechanism proudly displayed across the dial rather than hidden away beneath it.
A wonderfully unusual piece of contemporary independent watchmaking and a rare opportunity to add one of the more characterful Bel Canto editions to a collection.
