Every watch tells a story. This one is about Tudor showing its more elegant side.
The Tudor 1926 is a very different proposition from the Black Bay models for which the brand is perhaps best known. Refined, beautifully finished and unmistakably Swiss, it takes its inspiration from Tudor’s traditional dress watches while remaining substantial enough for everyday wear.
This particularly striking example combines a polished 41mm stainless steel case with a smooth rose-gold capped bezel and Tudor’s intricate seven-row steel and rose-gold bracelet.
The real star, though, is the dial.
Finished in black with Tudor’s distinctive embossed texture, it features warm gold-tone Arabic numerals, hands and detailing alongside six diamond hour markers. The result is properly luxurious without wandering into Liberace territory, which is always a danger with diamonds and gold.
Powered by Tudor’s automatic Calibre T601, the watch offers approximately 38 hours of power reserve, a date display at 3 o’clock and 100 metres of water resistance.
